A world leader in the production and sale of rubber soles for high-performance footwear intended for technical and sporting activities, particularly outdoors, Vibram needed to actualize the company's environmental awareness in a structured and global approach declined in processes, products and communication, demonstrating proactivity towards BtoB and B2C customers, who are increasingly demanding. The activity was then extended to employees in order to raise awareness and educate them about Vibram's renewed sustainable approach.

Step by step, we accompanied Vibram on the path of change thanks to a structured consulting approach, which started with an analysis of products and processes and moved on to an assessment of the company's positioning in relation to its competitors in terms of sustainability, and finally to the planning of short-, medium- and long-term actions. Thus, we drafted a communication plan for employee and customer awareness and a new code of ethics. The sustainability plan, broken down into six pillars, was named "The Sustainable Way."

The strategy enabled Vibram to increase sustainable engagement in all branches. The results, constantly monitored, were communicated first with a Position Paper and then in the first Sustainability Report, declined in various communication tools. Various moments were dedicated to employees: the Sustainability day, but also panels, articles in the intranet, cineforums, etc. In addition, all employees significantly increased their knowledge on sustainable development thanks to the online course Introduction to Sustainability by LifeGate Education.
